Tokyo Ice Cafe: A Place to Chill and Hangout

If you're looking for a place to have coffee, Japanese ice desserts (kakigori), or even have a full meal, Tokyo Ice Cafe's got you covered. With a warm and minimalist interior, the place is really pleasing to the eye and has that "chill" ambiance that would make you stay and hang out with your friends or family.

Their menu offers a variety of food and beverages, ranging from Pastas, Sandwiches, Korean Shaved Ice, Coffee and etc.

We ordered their set meals, which is composed of a DIY or Build-Your-Own set, where you get to choose a type of Pasta (either Carbonara, Pesto, Mentaiko), then a meat (Pork Tonkatsu, Chicken Karaage, or Chicken Teriyaki), then a side dish (Potato or Macaroni Salad) and it comes along with a Fried Egg (Sunny Side Up!), basic salad, and a Japanese Cheesecake Dessert.

I ordered the Carbonara, Pork Tonkatsu and Potato Salad Set for me, and to be honest I wouldn't be able to finish this all. The Carbonara was very heavy for the stomach so I had to get some help from my mom and dad to finish this.

And what I really enjoyed was the free dessert because of the cute bear!!!

They also ordered other sets, which were of the same composition just different types of pasta and main dishes.

This one's a Pesto + Potato Salad + Chicken Karage set.

While this one is a Mentaiko (seafood) + Chicken Teriyaki + Macaroni Salad set.

Besides the food, what I really liked was the ambiance of the place. It is so calm, yet warm.

I would definitely go back here and try their desserts and probably re-order the Tonkatsu set. Hahaha.
